1. About the App

Vector Football is a strength & conditioning app designed for amateur and semi-professional footballers. It provides AI-generated training programmes, workout logging, performance testing, and load management tools. The App is operated by Vector Football ("we", "us").

2. Eligibility and age requirements

You must meet the following minimum age requirements to use the App:

If you are under the applicable age in your country, you must not use the App without a parent or legal guardian who has read and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users who do not meet the applicable age requirement.

By using the App you represent that (a) you meet the applicable age requirement, or (b) a parent or guardian has consented on your behalf and accepts these Terms.

3. Premium subscriptions and payments

Certain features of the App require a paid Premium subscription. The following plans are available:

iOS (iPhone / iPad)

Subscriptions purchased through the iOS App are processed by Apple via the App Store and managed through RevenueCat. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings at any time.

Web (vectorfootball.co.uk)

Subscriptions purchased on the website are processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe handles all payment card data directly — we never store your card number. By subscribing via the web you also agree to Stripe's Services Agreement. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date via the Profile → Manage Subscription portal.

Price changes: We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any subscription price increase before it takes effect. If you do not cancel before the new price applies, your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the new price.

4. Free trial

Free trial: Where offered, access to Premium features is granted for a stated trial period at no charge. On iOS, you will not be charged until you actively choose to subscribe after the trial. On web, the trial is a time-limited access period with no payment required up front. You may cancel at any time during the trial without charge. After the trial expires, access to Premium features requires a paid subscription.

Free trials are limited to one per Apple ID (iOS) or one per account (web). We reserve the right to revoke trial access if abuse is detected.

5. Refunds and cancellation

iOS: All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com or through Apple Support. We have no ability to issue refunds for App Store purchases.

Web (Stripe): Subscriptions cancelled before renewal will retain access until the end of the paid period. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for unused subscription time except where required by applicable law. If you are a consumer in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with statutory cooling-off rights, see Section 13.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

7. Health and fitness disclaimer

Important — please read carefully:

Vector Football provides general fitness guidance only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The training programmes and recommendations generated by the App are automated and based on the information you provide — they do not account for all individual health factors.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new exercise programme, particularly if you have a pre-existing medical condition, injury, chronic illness, or any health concern. This is especially important if you are pregnant, have cardiovascular conditions, orthopaedic injuries, or are recovering from surgery.

You use the App and follow its training recommendations entirely at your own risk. Vector Football, its operators, and its suppliers accept no liability for any injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from your use of the App's training content.

8. Intellectual property

All content within the App — including training plans, exercise descriptions, programme structures, coaching cues, graphics, and code — is owned by or licensed to Vector Football and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our express written permission.

The "Vector Football" name, logo, and associated marks are trademarks. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks without prior written consent.

9. User content and data

You retain ownership of the personal data you enter into the App (workout logs, test results, etc.). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and process this data solely for the purpose of providing the App's features to you.

We do not claim ownership of your data, and we will never use your personal workout or health data for advertising, marketing to third parties, or any purpose beyond providing and improving the service described in this policy and our Privacy Policy.

10. Privacy

Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read it carefully — it explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:

Note for consumers: Nothing in this section affects statutory rights you may have under consumer protection law in your jurisdiction — see Section 13.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Vector Football and its operators shall not be liable for any:

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £50 / €50 / $50 (in the currency of your jurisdiction).

Note for consumers: Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law — see Section 13.

13. Consumer rights — statutory protections

These Terms do not and cannot override your statutory consumer rights. If you are a consumer (not purchasing as a business), you may benefit from additional protections under local law, including:

United Kingdom

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. You may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or partial refund if the App fails to meet these standards. The UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 provide a 14-day cooling-off right for digital services, though you waive this right by starting to use the service before the 14-day period ends.

European Union

Under EU Directive 2019/770 (Digital Content Directive), you have rights regarding conformity of digital content, remedies, and modification. Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from distance contracts, which may apply unless you consent to immediate performance of the service. These rights vary by EU member state implementation.

Australia

Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL, Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010), consumer guarantees apply to our services regardless of these Terms. You are entitled to a remedy if the App has a major failure.

United States — California

California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Legal Remedies Act (CLRA) and other state consumer protection laws.

Canada

Canadian consumers are protected by applicable provincial consumer protection legislation, including the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, British Columbia Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act, and Quebec's Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

Other jurisdictions

If you are a consumer in any other jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, those rights apply in addition to these Terms. Nothing here is intended to waive or override any such rights.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vector Football and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the App in violation of these Terms; (b) content you submit to the App that infringes the rights of any third party; or (c) your violation of any applicable law.

15. Service availability and changes

We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times or uninterrupted. We may:

For Premium subscribers, we will use reasonable efforts to maintain service availability and give advance notice of material changes that affect paid features.

16. Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

Where possible, we will give you prior notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of subscription fees already paid, except where required by law. You may delete your account at any time via Profile → Delete Account & All Data.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do:

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

For disputes, we encourage you to contact us first at support@vectorfootball.co.uk — most issues can be resolved without legal proceedings.
